For the 2011 FEI Annual Report, the Fédération Equestre Internationale returns with a comprehensive and colourful review of its activities, available for the second consecutive year as an iPad app, in addition and as a complement to the print and online versions available at www.fei.org.
The FEI Annual Report is an ideal snapshot into the activities of the governing body of equestrian sport with summaries of the sporting highlights from the year; messages from the FEI President HRH Princess Haya and the Secretary General Ingmar de Vos; committee reports from the sporting, administrative, legal and veterinary stakeholders; FEI Solidarity, development and educational initiatives; regional reports; commercial, communications and financial activities; results and pertinent statistics.
The added functionality of the iPad app provides users with audiovisual material (both sporting and from important events such as the inauguration of the FEI Headquarters), as well as integrated hyperlinks to additional content and imagery.
The FEI, based in Switzerland, is the sole controlling authority for all international events in Jumping, Dressage and Para-Equestrian Dressage, Eventing, Driving and Para-Equestrian Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Reining. It is an umbrella organisation that works in conjunction with the National Federations of each member country to regulate and govern the equestrian disciplines named above.
